Feisty Bento #111: Double Take

Left: glass noodles with Shiitake mushrooms, Chinese cabbage; roasted chicken Right: bean sprouts; sauteed greens; Asian pear and three cherries

Look familiar? It's all the same stuff as yesterday, just in a much smaller box (phew, time to shed some of these holiday pounds!). Yummm, I can't wait for lunch!

BTW, because everything in the boxes is meant to be eaten cold, I packed it the night before and put the whole box in the fridge. Ahhh... sleeping in an extra 5-10 minutes is nice, isn't it? Haha!

  1. mMm, i sure miss home cooking. the glass noodles look especially tasty!

    ryc: my salad itself yesterday was in a 650ml box, and i used the larger part of my bento box (probably around 350ml)... so technically, there was volume but i figured it would be ok since it was mostly salad.

  2. i just read your comment on my snack bento. packing the night before definitely rocks! i almost always run late for work, so it's a must. =\ luckily, there's a microwave at work so i can nuke food for 30 seconds just to heat it through.
